1. Q: What is Ngage?
- A: Ngage is a social gaming platform that allows businesses to build relationships with their customers; while enabling people to form new relationships among themselves.
2. Q: Is Ngage an ice-breaker activity?
- A: No. While some Ngage activities can be used in this fashion, Ngage is used to create continuous engagement throughout the entire event and is best optimized from event start to finish.
3. Q: Is Ngage available in the Google Play or App store?
- A: No, Ngage is not available in the Google Play or App store. Ngage is a web-based software, primarily utilized using patrons’ mobile browsers.
4. Q: Is there a limit on the amount of people that can play Ngage at an event?
- A: Our recommended group size spans from 80 people to 5000 people.
5. Q: Where does Ngage work best?
- A: Ngage works best in situations where there is an in-person audience with access to working mobile phones. For example, conferences, seminars, expo booths, marketing activations and campaigns.
6. Q: What happens if someone at my event has a technical issue while using Ngage?
- A: A trained Ngage rep will be on-site to assist you. Issues are generally resolved within 30mins of speaking to a rep.
7. Q: Can Ngage be played in teams?
- A: Yes, Ngage can be played in teams inclusive of a team leaderboard.
8. Q: How do I stop people from being distracted by the game during important moments?
- A: Ngage can easily lock and unlock game activities, so it doesn't interrupt other elements of your event. However, we do not control whether people visit other platforms such as WhatsApp or Instagram. Our solution for that is to keep people in Ngage.
9. Q: Does the Ngage service come with internet?
- A:No, the Ngage service does not include Wi-Fi service, however we can assist in finding available solutions.
10. Q: I am not very technical, what is required for me to use Ngage?
- A: You do not need technical knowledge to use the service. Our team configures the platform for you ahead of the event and provides people to manage the service at your event.
11. Q: Is Ngage compliant with the local data protection regulations?
- A: Yes, your data is safe. As a part of our compliance with the JDPA, anyone playing Ngage must digitally opt-in to our privacy policy. We provide our clients with the data collected and then remove it from our system within 30 days of the event as we do not store end-user data.
